I got fallout 3... wicked stuff... i heard farcry2 was a disapoiintment... so wont be getting it.... did you play fallout before chunky???

Fallout 3 is one of the reasons i've been so scarce. XD It sucked me in like a triple-cunted hooker. The ending is an ENDING so don't be in too much of a hurry on the main quest line, run around the countryside awhile Smile

a m8 has bought FC@ and reckons its just a bit too real if ya kno what i mean not as enjoyable to play...it probably is fun but on another level.

Total Battlefield recently had the chance to speak with Gordon Van Dyke, Associate Producer at DICE, to ask him some questions our members had submitted regarding Battlefield: Bad Company. Several of these questions were things the DICE team had not thought of so, to our members, feel proud when you start playing Karkand on the PS3 or 360.

TBF: Battlefield was traditionally a PC franchise and a lot of BF Fans really feel left out. Well we be seeing a PC version of Bad Company?

GVD: There’s no plans for Bad Company to go onto PC. For the avid fans they might’ve caught in July I think it was, our Executive Producer Ben Cousins mentioned that there were other projects in the works and that we haven’t forgot about the hardcore PC group. That’s about all I can say.

TBF: I know it might be hard for you to comment, but some members were wondering if Bad Company was being used as a test bed for BF3.

GVD: No, Bad Company is not being used as a test bed for anything. And, there is no BF3, that’s just a rumor. But it’s not a test bed for anything. It was more of picking at the next level for the console area. DICE is a very large studio so when there is one project in the works it doesn’t mean that everything shuts down for the rest of the company. There are different teams working on different projects (Including Heroes, Mirror’s Edge, and so on).

TBF: As you were saying, many of our members are hardcore PC gamers who are all just curious about the rumored BF3 but I can understand why you can’t say anything.

GVD: I came from playing Battlefield on the PC but now that’s not my area. I think that people should just be patient. Like it’s been mentioned by several of the senior guys over at DICE is that we haven’t forgot the hardcore PC gamer. So, don’t worry.

review:
fallout 3 n farcry 2 both not bad, fallout 3 cool gfx, choose ur own adventure, mad attack sequence using a tool they give, good ai, but a bit slow n cumbersome... far cry 2 is cool action packed very cool gfx and dynamic environment.. good ai aswell
one downfall of both is its only about 50 hours of gametime... it puts the value per hour of what u paid for it at about $1.80 but with beef its probably 4 c an hour after 2000 hours of play...
both great after a smoke though.. |) and not as intense as beef. u can fiddle fart around and not get blown up evry five seconds.
when it comes down to it theyre both worth a look, its good to have somethin different in the cupboard... beef can drive u to drink.

oh one more thing if anyone can let us in on how to get multiplayer goin on fallout 3 please tell... getsome n i spent 4 hours the other night trying to sort out accounts and connection.. gave up in the end.

na i havent seen earlier fallouts.. i was a gamer from early days of the 286 and left it at about the first pentium, but neva saw the fallout title.
getsome showed me bf2 and i went and got me a new puter to play it jst a couple of years ago so i was outta the loop for a while.

Farkkk what uve heard abbout far cry 2, its mint, my flatmate just bought it..its wicked. he just doesnt have his extra speedy add on lol Razz

which makes it more real Smile

guns get rust etc, and jam up, he has malaria, its free roaming, and them map is pretty farken huuge. :]

hey guys, yeah both titles cool FC2 and FO3 meant to be working at the moment but it's pretty quiet TII - this is India they say - what a shithole a real eye opener.
One of the guys i work with brought out AIX version 2 and there are some good new maps and sounds to go along with it people actually scream when you kill them lol.. oh yeah and they have wake daytime for all us wake junkies!!!!!
Yeah chunk and myself did spend a bit of time trying to get multiplayer going with fallout but it was about 2 in the morning and we had been indulging so to speak lol..

same shit different smell, loaded it played it for about 45 seconds (less time than to load it) then switched it off. eh
get a copy if u can, looks pretty, but dont buy it.

been playin a bit of cod 5 latley and i have to say i was a bit harsh, its still same game idea, ur on one of those car rides at a theme park and u can only go where the car goes as much as ud like to go someother way but cant... but like 4 the scenarios a way cool and the graphics kick arse...say a one of ur squad is firin off a few rnds next to u u can see the heat shimmer around the muzzle and the chunks of meat when he blows em away, like 4 single player is pretty cool. still havent multi ed yet though.

Yeah bro I got Left 4 Dead, it's awesome, Zombie Panic is alright but player controlled zombies don't act like -zombies-. L4D is the real Z-Movie experience of undead hoardes mindlessly rushing ya. Smile

They're expanding the content as they go along or so I hear, right now it feels like a professional mod more than a complete game, but what's there never seems to get old. Smile
