[Battlefield 2] Battlefield 2 Update 1.50 status

There has been a lot of discussions on the Battlefield forums regarding the Battlefield 2 Update 1.50, so this is to let you all know what’s happening.


Update 1.50 is still in development, we have held back on releasing the update as we have become aware of and are taking preventative measures against 3rd party tools which have been severely affecting everyone’s playing experience recently by crashing dedicated servers, clients as well as allowing account spoofing. We hope you understand our decision to delay the release to resolve these issues rather than releasing early with a need to update again.

We are looking to release this update by Winter of this year.


Not sure if this is a beta as nothing happened when i trid to run it,,, not sure what i ran lol probably another trojan
carefull on the d/l it cause im not sure what it does... only 1 mb
but have a look an tell me what u reckon

back ur shit up first or create a restore point... all could go to shit, but if it doesnt theres some nice changes, cept for the prone shoot delay increase
WARNING!!!! - you will have to do a complete reinstall to get back to 1.41 and your profile/registry entries will not work with 1.41 once upgraded to 1.5 so make sure you back everything up!

FEATURES
- Additional support for Windows Vista.
- Added Highway Tampa as a required map.
- Added a new map called Operation Blue Pearl.
GAMEPLAY TWEAKS
- Changes made to both the J10 and F35B to make them more balanced. Please note that the J10 is a superior dogfighter to the F35B and as such these two aircraft will never be equally matched.
- AA targeting tweaked to make it more effective.
- Added checks to prevent "runway grieving".
- Various changes made to prevent cheating.
- Tweaked the hit detection, hits will be more accurate to the model.

any1 here use widescreen fixer for bf? sent d/loaded for me .
; key toggles on/off w/screen on allows wider peripheral, u can see the speedo in jeps etc.
I I can see how once u adapt it gives a noticable edge over those not using it.
Bf its just well, you refine yr gameplay so much to a point where its all the same routine really, pwn and its boring get pwnd its A CUNT!

hasnt done shit for me the d/l was only a meg :S i dont thinnk it worked like its sposed to, though i dl a widescreen fixer and then my bf wouldnt load, unload.. nuthin ive spent the last 3 days settin up all my shit again..begining was FORMAT C: which is always fun... its like FUCK U computer HAHAHAHAHA I WIN... soughta..using vista businiss 32 and it wants to shutdown to install updates every two minutes or 180 what eva doenst work for u.. but jst got to installin bf again

Restore points dont always work.... but a rebuild from scratch shouldnt take more than 6 hours with everything back up and running..... It also is the best thing for your computer as it will be like new.

yeh shes up n running and yeh that and the vacuum cleaner has done wonders. I still cant shoot shit but it all happens a lot smoother now, like my pubes i dont think ill bother with the patch again i dont think it was related but its easier to wait for the 0.7 sec prone

I'm sorry, you'll be onto FARMA2 instead, the Aussie Outback simulator, the enemies are sheep and you only have one "gun" but I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself immensely.
