Hi all,abit stumped on this one ..well it go's like this ,im playing away on bf2 then i here a evil laugher in my head set ,as this happens weather im in a squad or not .I have asked ppl about this but no one seams to no!!!! ... am i going mad or watt can same one shine same light on this much thnx

Try using speakers instead of headphones and see if it still happens, that way you can sort of hear where the sound is coming from.....Otherwise just lay off the drugs a little

it my be an Xfire thing. Sometimes i get random noises through Xfire like squealing & poping noises try loading up just through ya normal battlefield icon it may help?

other wise see your local doctor as a precaution just in case you are going cookoo

Ok, serious now. A couple of questions.

Does it only happen when you are playing bf2?

Does it only happen on Wake?

Does it happen a lot or occasionally?

How long has it been doing it?

Just trying to determine if it could be related to a particular player, the server or your system.

I did a google but I didn't find anything interesting although its a hard situation to pinpoint a search for.

Yea I cant remember if its happened to me or some1 else but I have heard of it happening, I dont think its the drugs

I think the best solution would be to share the drugs around and then see if we all hear the laughter or not?

nooooo its not the drugs, all thow it is good gear lol.
and yes i will share my green grass with the boy 4shore. Now back to the prob yes it only happens bf2 maps and it only happens occasionally ps. yer phunkyD lets meet up for a blow or hoo ever passing through the west

It's a designer mod put in the 1.41 patch for BF2. You can't remove it nor is it easy to find, just something the guy who helped create the patch thought would be funny. Does sound cool though, at first I would turn around really fast because I could have sworn it sounded like the bastard was right behind me with a knife

This has happened to me once, I didn't hear it clearly and I didn't pay it much mind, thought it was the commander saying something random.
