UAC Elevation

Hi guys my Forkn XFIRE is on the blink when i go to join a game it says XFIRE needs UAC elevation and wont let me join a game....any advice welcome

progression my friend, r u afraid of change???
im running vista too it manages memory better. xp had set limits for certain progs (autocad/inventor) which sucked but vista enables all available.. well thats how its been explained to me + the 64 bit thing. gotta expect issues though when did microsoft release anything which didnt need service packs... r u still havin that problem? it happened to me only when i tried to join darkmans game but other players seemed to work.. and now it doesnt happen at all.. i didnt change anything either. try connecting to other plyz punk..

got some tips of that "internet" thing that you young ones go on about.

Whole lot of right click drama etc will try them out 2nite apparently it is a administrator thing.... it should not run as admin. WTF????

THE ANSWER IS// R click Xfire - properties - compatability and then uncheck run this program as administrator.

For some reason, usually at update time, it chooses to run as admin by itself this should help for vista users.

I feel my PC noob status slipping away... nah

Vista was forced upon me, much like uncle bully, by the PC gurus at global PC.. Its the next big thing etc etc etc woteva

Yea well he (global pc guy) is a very well known bf2er who we wont mention , should have advised you better altho, to be fair the computer is actually your missus and bf was a secondary application.
